Coated paper,
the standard for waybills and price tags
T1 coated paper: thermal transfer, direct thermal, laser and inkjet versions, from 50# to 100#, the highest-volume pressure-sensitive material for logistics, retail and warehousing.
Cheap, printable, good enough
Coated paper wins on cost and print quality for waybills, price tags and general labels; it is not water or tear resistant, so damp and outdoor use needs synthetic paper or PET.
The T1 range is segmented by grammage, surface and coating, with versions for thermal transfer, direct thermal, laser and inkjet.
For standard waybills and price tags coated paper has the lowest total cost; there is no need for a specialty material.

How to choose coated paper
Check the print method, water exposure and substrate.
Coating match
Thermal transfer, direct thermal, laser and inkjet need different coatings; the wrong one smears or prints faintly.
Runs cleanly
Release force and roll diameter can be set for your equipment to reduce drift.
Cost first
Coated paper is the lowest-cost choice for waybills and price tags.
Questions
Can coated paper go into a freezer?
For short periods; for long-term low temperature choose T4 PET low-temp or T6 cloth.
Direct thermal or thermal transfer coated paper?
Depends on your printer: direct thermal needs no ribbon, thermal transfer is more durable.
Not sure which material to use?
Tell us the substrate, service temperature, print method and service life, and a materials engineer will propose a combination, with samples and print validation.
